At the heart of our journey lies a transformative experience in 2012 when we embarked on a family service trip to Thailand. This endeavour, focused on building a café and rescue home for children rescued from exploitation and it marked the beginning of our family travels. Despite our previous overseas service trips, this one held a unique significance as we were accompanied by our 9-month-old baby.

What started as a mission of service unfolded into an eye-opening exploration of Thailand's rich culture and traditions. Our local friend became our guide, revealing hidden gems and allowing us to experience the country as insiders. In this vibrant tapestry of life, we realised that our demanding roles as entrepreneurs were taking a toll on our well-being, leaving us in a constant state of stress.

It was amidst these travels that we discovered the profound impact of immersing ourselves in diverse cultures, pursuing adventures, and embracing extraordinary experiences. Travel became our gateway to an alternate world—a realm where we could break free from the shackles of our busy lives and enrich not only our own existence but also the lives of our children. These moments of exploration transformed into a source of rejuvenation, teaching us to savour every moment and creating memories that would resonate in our hearts forever.
